One part of the project new businesses will appreciate is the work to create 60 new office spaces in the local Power Station. At least a third of these will be saved for start-ups.
The decision for the High Street regeneration is expected to be made in spring 2018. If the bid is successful the Good Growth Fund will provide some of the funding and Greenwich Council will provide the rest. As soon as this is finalised work can begin on the redevelopment.
The project could be fantastic for the local area and encourage more people to look at living here.
