For years, we’ve done our best to secure unique partnerships that benefit our clients. Our ability to do so reflects the experience we have. As a result we are one of the top names for block management Redbridge can offer. We aim to prove this to you through our actions and unbeatable levels of service.
A recent investigation shows Redbridge Council spent £25million on commercial buildings. This includes sites belonging to two nightclubs. They also bought a former pupil referral unit and a care home.
Like other councils, Redbridge is using their property and land effectively. The aim is to meet bigger service requirements from local areas. Additionally, they wish to create more income. This shall replace the cuts in central government funding.
A strategic opportunity
In October 2017, the council bought the former Faces nightclub. In the deal they also took some of the adjacent shops. It was the same for the St Georgio Hotel. The council is transforming the hotel into temporary housing. It’s for homeless families within the borough. The site should become usable by spring 2019.
The If Bar was another of the council’s purchases. The property had been empty since 2014. Today, the plan is for contractors to use it. They are currently reconstructing Ilford Station as part of Crossrail. The council bought the bar as a “strategic opportunity”.
The Ryedale Court Nursing Home was another of the council’s purchases. Just like the hotel, the building will become temporary accommodation. The aim is to also have it up and running by spring 2019.
