In the end, the project got unanimous approval. Of course, the one condition is that the crane girder must remain.
Berkley’s plan comes as Greenwich Council pursues another development. They want to refurbish the Woolwich Creative District. This will see some of the Arsenal’s listed buildings revamped into a cultural quarter. It’ll contain rehearsal space, studios, and also venues.
