At a recent meeting Greenwich Council gave approval for a development of new homes in Charlton. The project is interesting because it will be the first block of pocket homes in this part of London.
The site in question is on the Heights Estate. It was formerly a quarry but has been a car park since the 1970s. However, in the last few years it has been an underutilised space. The Council made the decision to free up the land for a new development of homes.
